We Are Obsessed With Your Safety!
Climbing mountains, climbing challenging walls or camping after a long day of hiking are activities that provide unique moments of contemplation and pleasure.
The need for this contact with nature means that more and more people are looking for travel agencies and specialized clubs whose knowledge, skills and attitudes are able to provide emotions and adventure in exact proportion, exposing its clients to controlled risks, minimizing the inherent dangers to the nature of these activities.
Unfortunately, with the increase of adventure activities practitioners and operators, there has also been an increase in accidents, including fatal accidents, due to the lack of equipment that is both adequate and in good condition, as well as the lack of planning and preparation of the professionals involved.
Law and Security
Concerned about safety and compliance with the Law, once again, anticipating trends, the PMG hired – in the year 2016 – an external audit to evaluate all the risks involved in its main course – BMC (Basic Mountaineering Course) , and whether all appropriate measures were being taken to minimize them and keep them under control.
For over 3 months, we were monitored by an auditor, who produced a report in accordance with Law no. 6514 of 12/22/77 (on occupational health and safety), generating a total of over 50 analyzed items.
The result of this audit was extremely satisfactory! The PMG received minor improvement recommendations in 4 items only. From this year on, the recommendations will come into force.
The concern about the safety of our students is the top priority for PMG. Every year, we work hard reviewing all the techniques and updating our knowledge in the latest trends of the sport, so that you can practice mountaineering safely and peacefully.
